Subject:         How to square a number ending with 5

Formula:       Ekadiken purven

Meaning:      One more than the previous one.

Method:       To make square of  a number which has 5 at its unit place, take the number leaving out 5 , add one in it. Now multiply them and write 25 after the product so obtained. You will get the square of that number.

Example:           (25)2 = (2x3)25 = 625
                        (35)2 = (3x4)25 = 1225
                        (45)2 = (4x5)25 = 2025  e.t.c

Now make practice for other numbers yourself i.e.
